Philanthropic Efforts & Community Involvement

Giving Back

“Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”
– Mother Teresa

We strongly believe that giving back to our community is among the most important, valuable, and rewarding driving forces of our business. We consider ourselves incredibly fortunate to be able to dedicate our time to funneling resources back into our community.

CWA Cares directs our philanthropic efforts towards four major categories: Education, Hunger, Veterans, and Medical Advancements.

Turkey Drop 2017

Turkey Drop 2017

By far CWA's favorite day of the year, Turkey Drop.  Every year for the past 14 years, the employees of CWA have gathered to prepare a 1000 Thanksgiving meals to benefit St. Matthews House and needy area families.  This year's bags included turkeys, freshly baked pumpkin pies, corn, green beans, cranberry sauce, a dozen eggs, stuffing, potatoes, and mac & cheese.  The yearly ritual started in 2004 when President & CEO Bill Benyon and his wife, Nena, were in their car to go shopping when they heard a pitch on the radio asking for turkey donations to St. Matthew's House for Thanksgiving. “We went to a Publix and bought 25 turkeys,” Benyon said. “And every year since we tried to do a little more. We work in this community, we want to give back to this community."  A special thank you to St. Matthew's House, Eggland's Best Eggs, Publix, Wynn's Market and DeAngelis Diamond for helping and truly making this into a community effort!  Read the Full Story

Capital Wealth Advisors is proud to support the community where we live and work in.

Below is just some of the organizations we support.

St. Matthew’s House

www.stmatthewshouse.org

The mission of St. Matthew’s House is based on the principle, “to impact the lives of the least of these in a spiritual environment that is both compassionate and disciplined.” It all started in 1987 when a group of Naples parishioners followed a calling to bring food to a homeless population living in a nearby wooded area..

The “Task Force for the Homeless” began gathering contributions of both food and clothing, establishing the mission’s food pantry. Throughout the years, community support has helped grow the small mission into a multi-faceted organization focused on spiritual change.
