12th Annual Turkey Drop

This year’s event was a huge success! We packaged and distributed 1000 turkey dinners to St. Matthews House for Thanksgiving.

The Annual Turkey Drop provides low-income and homeless families and individuals with an otherwise unattainable Thanksgiving dinner. Approximately 1,000 dinners including turkey, sides, and pumpkin pie will be distributed to eligible families and individuals.

In 2004, after hearing a radio ad for donations at St. Matthew’s House, Bill Beynon, President and CEO of Capital Wealth Advisors, and his wife Nena purchased 25 turkeys delivering them anonymously to the non-profit organization. The amount of turkeys has since grown over the years as Capital Wealth Advisors has grown. “The kick-off of the Turkey Drop is my favorite day of the year, as it gives us an opportunity to give back to the Collier County community,” says Bill.
